its true, without em D12 jus be another group, but dont fuck about with somebodys taste dude, if u dont like too bad. I feel D12 is more for the younger audience cuz of their toilet humor etc. its all good for me though, im an eminem collector so ill be getting the album

D12 wouldnt have gotten into the audience without the help of eminem, but now that they are, fuck it, i like em. they do their own shit, and dont fake of no one else. i feel its generally for younger audience, but i like it myself (im 15 ghehe) im gonna buy the album fo sure

hey i think ur really underestimating proof in that i mean im from the uk so we have westwood radio and slim and proof did this 10 min freestyle u cud prolly get off kazaa and its quality hip hop just cuz d12 are more commercial now doesnt mean they bad i mean if u were them ud totally sell out and u shudnt even front about it and plus i dont think this site wud be where it is without battle rappers like em fuck hes inspired me and most other rappers

r u talkin about the 8 minutes freestyle they did or is really 10 minutes.. wutever the 8 minute freestyle is hot
and D12 makes some ill verses and its no joke
they put so much thought into every verse to make it enjoyable to whoever listens to it
if that makes it mainstream cuz they put sweat into it.. then i don't know wut ur thinkin...
they work hard to make their songs.. and it's a fact
D12 knows what they're doin and if u think they're mainstream or somethin.. it's probably cuz you've only heard their video songs
bottom line: D12 is ill.. even without Eminem

DisTinct is right on the head..........here's what a lot of artists do.....mainstream or not
They have a bunch of songs that they will record and place on an album......than they have verses of lesser quality..( to make it seem more of the top)..when the time comes up that they must freestyle
Now it's not to say that NO rapper now adays actualy freestyles....Some do.....most don't
