Ive heard a couple tracks on hsi new cd Welcoem Back and Im not feeling it. Ive never actually liked Ma$e a lot. but persoanlly I think he was better in Harlem World.

ILL, don't sleep on Ma$e. In the rap game, he's acknowledged as a veteran. On the other hand, have you listened to the Harlem World CD? Or only what you heard on your radio dials.

Now as for commercial. There's nothing wrong with being commercial. 50's problem isn't being commercial, it's that he SUCKS lyrically PERIOD. To prove my point further:

Piggybank was leaked a few weeks before the Massacre actually hit shelves. It was a lack-luster attempt to verbally murder someone. ( Nas, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Kelis)

Jadakiss released the searing battle track called "Checkmate" on March of this year. OBVIOUSLY, it housed scorching battle lyrics, and was showcasing what many people didn't know Jadakiss had: Omega Battle status.

50 Cent responds to Jadakiss with an anthem type track featuring Tony Yayo called "I run New York" It housed a few punchlines, such as
"He's just a disgruntled employee" It was another bad attempt at battling. Personally, I knew about Jadakiss' battle reputation way back before his first album. He was well-known on the NYC underground in the early 90's. After all, he was murdering grown men AT THE AGE OF 12.

At the age of 12, 50 was probably banging, so he really had no musical background before about 1999. Jadakiss is just overall more skilled.
