Amsterdam is a City in Holland in Euprope. Amsterdam is also the capitol of Holland (Netherlands), but not the capitol of the state it lays in, beeing North-Holland. The capitol of N-H would be Haarlem, a city just 10 miles up north of Amsterdam. The (so said) capitol of Europe would be Brussels in Belgium, 100 Miles down south from Amsterdam.

I have to say I live in Amsterdam.....
