New Mag!
You are now witnessing history in the making. This is the first installment of the Rap Dog's
weekly magazine. I'll try my best to post up every Friday. This will be chronicling Newbie
battles. I'll also throw in the toppunchlines of the week, and give the top 3 freestyles
of the week. There will also be a little something called the Power Rankings, where I'll be
conversing with one of the moderatorsor admins and making a top 5 list of current emcees
on the site. Not neccessarily the top 5with the best records, but the men to beat on the site;
Ones who have come up and made a name for themselves. There will also be some advice
for the new up and comers.. You knowthings along these lines.. If anyone responsible would
like to help with the production of this mag, let me know. Well, as for now...Sit back.. And observe..
A few words of advice.. Voting for some people seems to be a problem.. If you're someone
that's not well-known,and virtually a newbie.. Then please, just don't go into a battle like
'so and so, took all cats easily..' That's a bit wierd, don't you think? So if you're new, and
you do think someone took all categories.. Just break it down into all the categories..
And THEN say 'All Cats' You may not believe this but... Some people actually cheat on
voting....*GASP* If I could, I'd help the Mods by checking IP addresses...On second thought..
I'll start doing that..
No showing is the gayest way to win a battle...Please..If you accept a battle, why the fuck would
you not show up for it? No-showing, from what I understand, is an automatic win for the other
emcee, but nonetheless.. It's faggotism... So if you post a call-oout, and you suddenly lose the
urge to battle.. Just go into that thread and post that 'I'm tired..' or some shit like that.. Come on
people... This site is already one of the best on the net, but we can do better ..( Believe me,
it is..I have been to most of the better ones on the net, and this one ranks up there.. )

Power Rankings:
The Power Rankings will be the Rankings of the top 5 Emcees on the site
as I see them fit. I'll cooperate with a mod to get some outside thoughts
on who they see fit. Well, here goes.
5. Big T
Big T is flying in under the radar. Take a look at some of his battles. His consistency
on the newbie level is virtually unmatched. In his 4 battles within this week, he has
murdered his opponents, although he did lose one. Though, he is a little rough around
the edges, with his complexity, given some time and tutelage, he would really start to
wreak havoc on the Veteran ranks. You should all keep an eye on this guy within the
coming weeks.
4. Jingle
Now Jingle has a very haphazard and unorthodox style. The 'Jester' can be extremely
humorous at some times, and other times just come serious, with punches flying out
the asshole. You know.. Come to think of it, I think he and Big T would make a hot ass
Tag Team...Look at me, making connections.. The ultimate diplomat. I would like to see
Jingle take on some tougher competition in the coming weeks, though.
3. Undissable
In my opinion, the top 3 in the Power Rankings for this week are interchangable, with all
3 of them holding their own in battles, and utterly murdering. Now undissable comes with
the universal text style. Drawn out punchlines, with comedic timing. A style that you can
sort of read along with, and catch everything. He caught my attention when I first got here..
And then he kept it by destroying ILLESTMYND.. He has the style of someone who has
seasoned their stuff over time. And adequately enough, he will be on the list for a long time
to come.
2. Anesthetic
Now, a new kid on the block that's come in and made a large splash. First gaining some
acclaim for his complex and witty freestyles, he has proved his worth on the battling circuit.
Murdering contenders with flavorful punches and a certain strategic timing, he comes hard
on each of his cuts. Look out for this young cat in the weeks to come, as he puts the halt
on headstrong ascent and strives to be better in everyone's eyes.
1. Apex
As we hit the Number One Spot, effectively, remember that these top three spots are still
interchangable, mostly because of Apex's lack of consistency. Not in lyrical content, but in
the amount o drops he has. Now there is no doubt in his skills, as he showed in the battles
versus Anesthetic, but I've no doubt that if he would drop on a more consistant basis than his
skills would sky-rocket. Using a mix, which is sort of the cross of Undissable's punchline style
and Anesthetic's wit, he undoubtedly takes the top dog honors for this week. (Not saying that
he takes his style from either of them, just making the comparison.) Not dropping may alter
his rankings for the weeks to come, but if he can rev himself back up, then everyone should
watch themselves. ( Give my regards to your daughter, Apex. )

Battery- How about a better looking homepage? The actual Rap Dogs, homepage, not the forum.
And it does load a bit slow..
