Rap Dogs Weekly Mag #4
Another week in the books, boys. ( And some girls. ) I'm going to have to be taking a break
from the mag pretty soon. I'll do maybe 3 more installments. It's way more strenuous than
I thought it would be. But I shall try and keep traversing and trudging through the snow
for the loyal magazine readers out there. You know, I would really like to see some rule
changes out there, for the battles. Just spice up the house rules a bit, to make them
more battle friendly. Just a thought. And you know, Roc-A-Fella is starting a new branch
called Roc-La-Familia. It's for the Reggaeton artists, since it's a big sound in the hip hop
game right now. Reportedly, an artist named Aztek will be the first from the label.
Power Rankings
5. BaklikeCookdcrack
None of you out there can debate that this guy has elevatred his game EXTREMELY within the last
two weeks or so. He has sprung up like a penis at a porno convention. B.L.C.C. can come with
some solid punches at times, if he can keep his head on straight. I tell you, this guy is really strating
to make some noise in the battle ranks, and we should all turn our ears to him and listen.
4. JKeith
Now at no point did I ever think that I would have this guy in the top 5...EVER... But hey, I know
most of you checked out the battle between he and Gopha. It was a classic man.. Personally,
I think it was tied for the best battle that I have ever seen on this site. Need I say more?
3. Undissable
The Diss man ends his reign at the top of the rankings, as the longest running number one
rapper.. ( Yeah, 2 out of 4 weeks. LOL.. ) He fell off slightly, not battling that much this week,
nor with his usual prowess. He will probably take a drop off of the rankings for the next week
or two, but with Good reason. The Immaculate Emcee has become engaged to his girlfriend.
Everyone shoould give him a PM of congratulations. ( I already have, for your information. )
2. Gopha
The resurgence of the past. That's all I can say about this one. Now Gopha was a little
before my time on this site, but I can see that he holds a great reputation with the people
here, and with good reason. He has a seemingly uncanny ability to create a pun on any
word or group of words given. Very witty.
1. Green Machine
And the Incredible Hulk makes his first appearance as the number one emcee on the site.
For some odd reason, there have been an enormous number of callouts partaining to Green,
and he has answered each in the same way.. With a lyrical ass spanking. What better way
to defend your reputation than to kill everyone who called you out within that particular week?
Sounds good to me.
Under The Radar:
Reclipse - Although losing all of his battles as he enters, there is a potential with Reclipse
that can be seen by many on this site. I don't think any of you doubt that given the proper
critiquing, Reclipse could conquer this site. ( Well, most of the site, anyways. ;) )

Mod Of The Week:
Green Machine -
This week, was a true test of might, power, and endurance. We had a d.ildo engulfing
contest. It was Green Machine up against Young Rice and Logikal. Logikal was first,
leaping into the air and giving his Xena warrior princess yell, and slamming his anus
onto 5 fuzzy purple d.ildos at once. Then it was Young Rice's turn. He took a 5 footer,
and slammed it right into the bowels of this throat, but soon imploded from the
tremendous pressure, killing himself. And then it was Green Machine's turn. This man
showed truly, why he was known as a machine. He laid down a conveyer belt of
d.ildos, and set himself up onto a harness, and let it rip. The d.ildos began to move down
the conveyer belt, and as each one passed, Green Machine slammed his anus down onto
the conveyer belt. To your surprise as well as mine, Green Machine could not accept his
award... He's still at the conveyer belt.... Having fun....

Here is a battling tip which was submitted in a thread by ToxN.
Tip#1: Be Creative
Almost all the newcomers battle with the same, generic punches.
"I'll shoot you with my tech nine/ Take out your spine"
Something like that... well let me tell you this.. it's all been said before, and therefore is boring, and unoriginal. If you must talk about shooting people with your guns that you probably don't have.. let alone touched, at least be creative about it and try saying it like no one else has... such as
"I dare you to look down the barrel-of-my-gun/ And what's left of you.. there'll-be-none"
It's saying the same thing the first punch did, but it's said with a uniqueness that the ordinary MC wouldn't think to use. Creativity is a category that a lot of voters use to judge the battle on, therefore you should be more creative than your opponent to win the battle.
Producer's Tip:
Just something to keep in mind, Good rhymes are worth just as much as any hot beat, more than 95% of the time whack artists are the ones asking for free beats usually messing it up for those artists in the game who actually have skill, I know me myself if I was still producing and making work for hires as they are called when someone pays you for a beat, I wouldn’t even sell a beat to a whack artist whatsoever just because I wouldn’t want my name anywhere near the whack SOB, my only argument is producers should not charge real MC's for beats because they are hard to come by nowadays, real MC's that is, it takes more than a hot beat to make a hot song, those lyrics have to come along somewhere to add that final instrument the producer cannot add, on those song registration forms from ASCAP or BMI they split the publishing and royalty payments 50/50 between composer and writer neither one is worth more than the other when it comes to profits gained from a song
