View Full Version : NEW RULES - EVERYONE STARTS AT LEVEL ONE

We decided that everyone has to win three battles in level one before they progress, regardless of post related ranking.

When you first join a new level, the admin will post a paired match between two new members. After that people can call each other out.

Let me know if you have thoughts on this.

so once we win our three level one battles will we go to our post count rank? or do we have to work our way up through each level?

it might annoy a lot of vets tho...cos you've got a choice of just takin easy battles to get up or fighting someone decent, you know what i mean, i thought the other system was better tbh

You can take easy battles to start. But your first two battles at each level will be assigned by the moderator.

So in time you will be at your own level.

I suppose, so is this a concrete new rule..or?

No, NOTHING is concrete. This will all evolve as we go along. So anything you have input on, keep it coming. It will help us smooth out the rough edges of everything.

But I DO like the fact that people are paired, so it mixes things up. But whatever the majority want, that's what we usually end up doing.

By pairing we get people into the fray right away....otherwise it sits there with pages and pages of callouts.....a little unfocused in my opinion.

Think of this too: If we don't pair people up, then technically two people could move up the battle ladder and just battle each other.....in fact someone might be able to cheat and use two accounts. Each level they have six battles against themselves, and let each account win 3 battles to move up. They've never been challenged, never had a curveball thrown at them. By pairing up, you end up battling at least 10 additional members that you might never have chosen.

It's also a good "mixer" that might encourage more alliances and good crew relationships between various members.

this is just an opinion not to be taken seriously but i think we should be in the level that our bar says cause like baklikecookdcrack said it'll annoy us cats dat have been here for awhile and have gone through hell of alot of battles already to get to our status and now with the new levels cats on here dat were vets are now at regular levels making some rappers who are at higher status look like average joes

We started it out that way, but makes more sense to have people battle up. If you're seasoned, you'll move up very quickly.

I think as you go up the levels it will all work itself out.

Yes, people will cheat in level one, and a poor player may win here and there....but cream rises to the top. By the time you get to level 3 or 4 I predict a lot of that stuff will work itself out. You'll be having fiercer battle competitors, and people will be less likely to cheat at those levels, or will have already been caught and booted so they have to start over.

The poll modification will allow admins to see who voted and how they voted. It will be useful to check on cheating, and will cut down on cheating when people know we can view that. I think that's what will happen anyway.
