TEARS OF LADY LIBERTY
Lady Liberty cries
and not a little
she is truely hurt inside
For she has seen our wrath
knows our heart
and knows exaclty how we act
Shes gazes into our eyes
peered into our souls
and knows the passage to our minds
She continuesly weeps
her eyes don't rest
how could they from what she's seen
All her eyes have peered upon is death and destruction
nothing we do constitutes her being
Our free hearts and souls are filled with corruption
Not evan police know how to act
They are sopposed to to be our peace keepers
but they all are meglomaniacs
Politicians are just as worse
they fill our faith with lies
None hold true to the words
There is nothing we can do to make it better
Fight as we might
Politicians and Police are in this together
But we as citizians are to a disgrace
it is now 2003
and yet we still segregate
For united as one we will never be
Millions have died
and yet words of hate thrives in the street
Our souls and hearts are contaminated with hatred
We are the roles models
so this is what we teach the youth of our nation
We are eternaly plagued with problems
but we won't fix them
so who do we expext to solve them
No one.....we just assume nature will take its course
but nothing has yet to happen
and our ignorance of this situation is the mian source
Will we extract any knowledge from this lesson?
Will we make changes
or be stuck in this continues loop of lifes progression
In a thousand years will we evan exist
What will happen?
Will we thrive together and learn how to live?
Will we ever erase away the earths tensions?
Sadly all I know is...
in my lifetime I will never see the answer to any of these questions
