Does anyone else watch this show...I catch it late at night when they're airing reruns....

Last night I was watching the newest edition....They were fixing up a Buick Century...I forget the year...While installing a system they got this insane idea to put this trash can sized Sub-Woofer in the guys backseat....This thing was insane....It stood around 2 foot high and it was so damn heavy that the needed a crane to pick it up...

This monster was called "The Jackhammer"....I forget the company that manufactors it....It took 4 batteries and 6 amps to power it...

I have nothing else to say about it....Just damn...Why the hell would you create something like that....If anyone else has seen this please chim in...It deserves the attention...

yo the usa version is sick with xzibit but the uk version with westwood is shit Im from the uk so we only get the old usa episodes were stuck with the uk ones :(

For real... that would make the back seat impossible for one kind of "back seat bumping"... however it would ensure full-time "back seat bumping" of another nature.

yeap we got it too here....it's sooper cool...unfortunatly we are first time seeing those tipe of cars and we do not have many american cars in Romania...but i luv watchin...it's a sooper MTV show

YEAH! that thing was huge huh...LOL...they were saying that bass was louder then an airplane...took out the whole back seat for it tho...but that was a nice lookin car at the end...that show is awesome!!

Most cars in bass competitions have decibel readings louder than airplanes. In my first Mustang way back in 1996 I had took my back seat out and had a custom built speaker enclosure made that housed 4 12" subs in it. I had over 1000 watts of power in the car, and back then that was NOT the norm. That car was worthy of doing some of the local decibel drags. I never did them though. I was in a car club back then too. LOL Man those were the days.

Got this off of another site:

My car back then was rated at just over 140 dBA. That was loud as fuck back then. I had a good friend who had a Mazda B2200 sponsered by Stillwater Designs. He had the entire bed of his truck covered in a toneau cover with multiple amps, batteries, 4 15" subs facing the cab of the truck with a cut through into the cab so you could see the speakers. The truck itself wasn't that nice but his system was. The truck wasn't shit either. It looked nice, but it had more in the stereo than in the looks. LOL I also knew another guy through him who was making a Astro Van for competition back then too. The guy was the owner and founder of a popular custom car clothing line called "Drop Em Wear?". Man all of these memories are coming back to me now. I forgot about most of this shit.

OK

I saw it it was real nice

but the thing that i'm pissed about pimp my ride is that one car(i think it was a car or 2 cars before it) and the paint job was NOT cuttin like it had an affect of sheet metal which was nice and all,but NO,not really feeling that at all

but n e ways it was tight as hell

and i think it requires 3 batteries not 4 to power it

Yeah...It's mostly people who live in bad areas of Caifornia who don't have the money to fix their cars...so they write a letter or something to MTV...They than get it fixed...

I would love to see the after story...You know every last car was broken into...

Alot of the houses are nice houses

these cater to kids who live in ok..houses and who go to school and dont have enough money to pay for the expenses.......

Any of you seen the new season?...It's stupid...Why did they change shops?...and why the hell is Mad Mike still there...Plus it seems way to scripted now....and the cars are really ugly...They look like toys...The colors are way to bright..They are going insane with their ideas...One care had T.V. moniters put on mud flaps...WHY?!?!?!?!?!?

I really like that show Overhaulin...fuck Pimp My Ride.Once they put that giant sub in the back of that piece of shit car with that wack ass black and red paint job,I was pretty much done.Plus I wanna punch that Mad Mike in his fuckin nerd face..
