Why Write

why write?

why write? because thats how i get to vent my feelings
about these drugs, thugs, sluts, bucks and dealings
the collapsin ceilings,
to some they dont, but to me these words have meaning
these sacred scriptures,
baring my soul like naked pictures
from doing more drugs then are mixed in elixers
why write? to realease my rage
rather than being deceased or caged
why write? if not for myself...i have a niece to save
why write? to destroy these boulders
that have placed themselves upon my shoulders
and when i write i seem to die
because i feel free to fly
but as the pen drops and the ink dries
i come crashing down
'what have i done to deserve this' i ask aloud
the room starts to spin, my blood starts to thin
all as reality starts to set in
i look around and notice everything the way it is
no rememberance of joy i felt moments ago-there isnt a trace
picking up the pen, maybe it isnt that safe
come to think about it, the question should be 'why write in the first place'

i liked that you had your own thing goin on with this . . vocab was chill . . but you had no format goin on, if you know what im sayin . . it would have been better if the "why write?" came like every three or whatever lines . . it was weird havin it once in the beginning . . three almost right after each other in the middle an then in the end line . . again, format what i saw, but good originality . .

p.s. and something for everyone - always be uppin the vocab, you wont always be usin elaboate words, but youll have them for when you need then . . get it . .
