I am going to take my PS2 and all of my games this weekend to the video store and trade in my shit for store credit and put it all down on an XBOX 360. They told me that I will be guaranteed to get one on the day it comes out if I have a $50 deposit down on it. I am going to pay it off before the release day though. I am going to get the $400 version with the wireless controller, the XBOX Live subscription, headset and something else. I guess I will get Ghost Recon as my first game. I think Ghost Recon is coming out for it. That's what the guy told me today at least. Maybe NFS Most Wanted too.

You think that's going to change now, just because of the upgrades that PS3 has made. They're basically the same system, aside fromt he standard Bluetooth connectivity. And there won't even be a game to showcase PS3's graphic range, until 7 months after it's released. I don't feel like waiting that long for Devil May Cry 4. Why do that when I can have a wonderfully designed game like GOW? Exactly, I won't do that. 8)

xbox was crap i have 1 and av only ever bought 1 game 4 it n that was fifia street ... i have allways spent my money on the ps2
Just because you're not smart enough to buy Xbox games and waste all your money on PS2 games doesn't mean PS2's better. It just means you spent more money on worse games. :roll:

I had a PS2 but I wanted an XBOX. The only games I ever played on PS2 that didn't come out on both systems at the same time were the GTA games. And although I want to play them on the next gen consoles, it isn't enough to steer me towards buying the PS3. To tell you guys the truth I just like that the 360 is from an American company!!!! :usa

I still don't know what to get, I've got a Gamecube :oops: just now, basically becoz it gets most of the games that everyone gets and it has some own console games that are nice, plus I don't play that much, altough I wish I could get Pro Ev :cry: , so I figure I'm getting either PS3 or XBOX360....any ideas?

360 is going to be the most powerful of the new systems, and the best part of it is that it will have the best on-line system available. That will be what seperates the 360 from the others. If you have broadband internet then get the 360 and fork out the 50 bucks for a year of on-line gaming goodness. Hell that's cheaper than the games. Plus with the exception of the Nintendo which will inevitably sink lower than the others because of sluggish sales, the 360 should have a price edge over the PS3 at any given time. The 360 is coming out first and therefore will have the sales volume edge against Sony when they come out, plus the current price of the low end 360 will be cheaper than the PS3 when it comes out and you know MS will lower the price for the release of the PS3. If you can wait, I would wait until the PS3 comes out and MS lowers the price of its currently $400 model of the 360a and buy it then.
