only thing you can do is post links up for people so they know theres a battle happenin (me n flawless need votes in tournaments 2) then u might get a better response
thing is you can't make someone vote so just try and vote on as many as you can and the people who's battle you voted on may be good enough to vote on your battles when they arise.
