I as well as two of my friends have preordered XBOX 360s and none of us will get one on the first day. We may not even get them for several weeks! I am one of only two people who have their entire 360 paid off at the place I ordered mine and I STILL won't get one! Fuckin' Wal-mart is getting some though and they don't even take preorders! It's stupid that I ordered mine a long time ago and I won't get one even though I already paid, and some bitch ass 3rd shift stocker at Wal-mart is going to get one just because of his job. It's stupid to not fill the preorders with the current shipment of 360s and give some to places that didn't take preorders.

And I agree, that's pretty fucked up. At least I'm not fifteen. If I was, I could get a job as a 3rd shift stocker at Wal-Mart, and get an Xbox 360 and rub my ass in your face about it. Although, it is funny that you're pissed off about Microsoft's irresponsibility, and yet you have a sig with Bill Gates in it.

Well I thought about it and I started to think............how exactly does the preorder system work? I think I figured it out. The places that were taking preorders were never guaranteed to get enough to fill the preorders because hey had no deal with MS to do it. The companies thought that the demand was high enough that they should have a preorder list so that people would put down money on them thinking they would be sure to get one first. Then they do not allow you to get your money back if you find out it will be a few weeks and you want to snag one at midnight at wal-mart somewhere. They make you use the money you put down as credit.............which leads me to this funny anecdote about what my friend Nelson did this weekend.

Nelson is a 230 pound built and intimidating latino who loves to drink. His dad owns a night club and he goes there to drink a lot. Every weekend he gets drunk and this weekend was no exception. (side note: last year when we went to the ski hills our friends had to drag him home because he was drunk and threatening the employees with bodily harm if they gave him a problem with his deposit LOL He spent $50 on beer at the ski hill and then came out and skied better then he did sober!) Well this weekend after I told him that we wouldn't get our 360s on the first day (we preordered from the same place) he went up there to get his money back. He claims he knows someone who is a manager at Wal-Mart and she will get him one the day it comes out. Well the girl working there told him she couldn't give his money back. He told her that the guy he preordered from said he could get his money back and also that he would get one on the 22nd when it came out so he wanted his money back. She told him it was policy not to (neither of us were informed of this) and he got pissed! He threatened to come behind the counter and punch her or break her neck or something and she got scared and asked him to not get mad. He kept on and he eventually got her to give him his money back. He told her he was going to Wal-Mart to get one and she told him the same thing another guy told me last week, that the employees at WM are going to buy the limited supply of them that they get for themselves and also to resell on E-Bay for profit before they even put them out on the floor. He told her "I know someone who works there and she'll get me five of them and then I will come back here and sell them in front of your fucking face!" LMAO poor girl.
