Where are you mom? Why have you left me when I was so young?
I cannot call for you any longer I have no air left in my lungs.
I fell from the nest and never found my way back home,
now I'm on my own with nowhere to roam,
no place to go, no one to call mom,
it's time I start to grow up and begin to act strong.
Like dad has always taught me, stay occupied with other thoughts,
no need to feel sorry for yourself, but I still felt distraught.
The storm has still not ended, year after year it seems to rain,
I try and cover myself up but I don't think I can handle the pain.
One day we will meet, when I realize I can't take it any longer,
and mom you will see that I'm the one that's much stronger.
