Nightmare

Cold sweat when I awakened, reality mixed with fear;
the thoughts that have passed seemed so clear.
The unexpected is what I was faced with,
but prepared I was not.
This is here and now because I still have not forgot.

Assure me that it could never be.

This is the worst dream I have
