currently the only reason to cough up $600 for a PS3 next year as far as I'm concerned. heres a quick rundown...

-you play as Snake
-it basically picks up where MGS2 left off
-characters from the MGS2 AND MGS1 will be in it

pretty sure cats who've played the first 3 games will recognize most of the people in those screenshots but for those that havent played any of the MGS games before then all I can say is; WHAT THE FUCK!? go out to your local Gamestop or whereever and find yourselves a copy of one of the earlier games and get with the program dammit!! heh well anyway enjoy ~1~

I only played Metal Gear Solid 1 (Double Disk), way back on Playstation 1, lol. Great game, but don't know about those 1's. Maybe I should get a Playstation 3 just for Metal Gear Solid 4, too. :D

Previous games were great, screen shots look amazing...worth buying a PS3 for? In my opinion no, but it depends how much cash you have lying around I guess :?

this might be a suprise, but i fuckin LOVE mgs series....i usually dont play games, but if i do play a game it has to be good or interesting, and quite frankly this game is both...so yes i'm anxious to see how this comes out..only problem is, i hvae to cough up 600 dollars.....:(

This game will be awesome, im not sure if thats the main metal gear tho... mmm maybe.,,, the idea of foxdie back is critical... cause for all fans know.. snake was infected...

but how do u know its snake.... The character shown has only one eye... or so it seems from the snake eye device... thats big boss's trademark....

now you know liquid wouldn't be chasing false information...seeing as how he knows everything YEARS before snake ever finds out about it

(1)...in the trailer he even introduces himself as "snake"...otacon refers to him as "snake"

(2)...The eye patch that you saw...think of it as the upgrade of the Soliton Raidar system....they call it...""The Solid Eye Patch""

(3)...True, solid snake IS in fact infected with Foxdie...but in case some of you don't remember...Naomi altered the version that was injected into snake...so who's to say what she really did?

aside from the people already seen in the trailers I've heard Vamp will alllegedly be making a return as well as a couple more people if I'm not mistaken. also should be noted that in the trailer Ocelot was named "Liquid Ocelot" which probably means he was completely taken over by Liquid's arm after the end of MGS2. wonder how significantly that will affect things...

You know when snake is at that cemetary?..and he's saluting?...well who is he saluting to?

you know when raiden said ""Snake...now its my turn to protect you""

you know when Hideo Kojima promised that we'd all like raiden this time around?

what is the only way that we'd all be able to like raiden and have snake at a cemetary saluting an unknown person?

Snake might ACTUALLY be young in this one

if any of you are keepin up on trailers....the octocam is supposed to camoflauge to anything it touches...like a chameleon....well guess what??

turns out that its a FULL body suit....so why is it that the only part that isn't covered is his head???

i'll tell you why!...snake isn't old to begin with...its a ruse set up by otacon himself to fool the patriots & everyone else around him..into thinking that snake's nothing more than just a feeble old man....but when the camoflauge is off...its clear to see that snake is young looking exactly as he did during MGS2....a bird crapped on his face...and odly enough this proved my theory....the camoflauge is supposed to camoflauge to anything it touches....why didn't snake's face turn white?? because thats his real face

backtracking a little bit now.....in the beginning of the latest trailer...snakes surrounded by a section of dead soldiers....snake touches the dead soldiers & the camo assumes what snake would look like dead.....the Metal Gears walk away...& snake emerges from the dead bodies completely unharmed....and his face comes back to normal....a function of the ""Octocam""

Snake really is dying from Foxdie...thus the injections in his neck...and it is true that his body might be decaying faster than normal....this is what the shot is supposed to cure....but...just like any other drug....eventually snake's body will build up a tolerance to it...& eventually run out...bringing about his untimely death

storyline is completely unclear...but if you guys want questions answered i'm sure i could answer a few...CMON!!! QUIZ ME!!! TEST ME YOU PANTYWAISTS!!!! :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
