well... what's the structure? is it like german rap, where it doesn't really sound like their rhyming unless you know the language? do they use different styles? and who are some artist you would suggest to someone who would like to get into italies hip-hop culture?

structure is really basic, rimes are kinda simple so it more important what u say than how u say it... no double words riming and the flow depends on the artist, u know that... it kinda sux also that u cant rime with consanants, like words never end in "t" or "s", its totally different that english... words mostly end with vowels... but still there are some sick ass mcs

German ya dont need to know the language to listen to the rimes, u can hear em, its alot like english rap...


italian hip hop aint that big here, so only option is underground, cuz no one really goes big... But if ppl would open their eyes they'd love it...

here some tite artists are Ape, not pronounced like gorilla in english, real tite ish right there... or bassi maestro ( he's pretty much a pillar in italian hip hop)... Mista is tite with wordplay and punches... Stokka and mad buddy got a hell of tite flow, from palermo they pretty much rule the south of italy... u got many more that are good, like everywhere but beware, there are also those fake ass wanna be gangstas that they they're the shit but they suck... do not listen to PMC, club dogo and others which i cant remember their names right now... any how u wanna listen to some dope italian shit, it me up on msn and i'll send u some

well i don't have msn but w/e, and, by the way....i've only heard one german rap song so that's what i was basing that judgement on. i couldn't understand...or not so much understand what he was saying so much as what yllables were rhyming. i can understand though why italian hip-hop would be hard to get if their words end with most vowels, i speak spanich so it is kind of similar. and that monkey dude it's pronounced AP`E( don't really know just guessin.)

well, basically i moved back to switzerland and i live in the italian speaking part... all my friends listen to italian so i always heard it, after a while i started liking it and now i rap with ppl who rap in italian... cd coming out soon
