Most of the time I drop my verse in a battle depending on how long it takes my opponent to check. In a battle I always use my opponents negative actions in order to inhance my verse if they drop first. Why is verse flippin a negative in a battle?

Its a negative cuz it aint fair. Lets say i drop 1st, I dont have a chance to flip a vers(aka counter). But my opponent does, thats why blind spits are so good. No one has a chance to see the other's verse. Here's an example:
Rapper 1.
I'm like a cobra i dont give a fuck
Dude I'll swallow you up you suck
Rapper 2.
What are you singin and hummin~bout
You'll swallow me, good luck comin~out
Rapper 1 never had a chance to do that, so Rapper 2 had the advantage.

whats a good idea is what they used to do give your bars to a mod and when the mod gets them he drops them for ye so none of you know what the other bars like and that makes it fair 8)

i feel like in a real life battle'n, verse flipp'n is the only sh*t that you absolutely know is authentic and improv. In battles each dude always has some negatives stored up and ready. Verse flipp'n shows if the person can think quick on their feet and redirect that sh*t. It IS a b*tch move if that's all you do though.
