well, mostly i have not even considered christianity, but that was out of ignorance and immaturity, most of my life i have taken the people who consider themselves 'christians' as the representation of this religion, and it has turned me of..

i came to realise, that no matter how fucked the people are, the religion stays the same..no i dont mean the modern christianity, i mean back..back long ago, before all this shit got out of hand..

i believe we dont have the full story and that there is alot more jesus and the christian belief..i think that what we have today isnt the right/full version..

i recently watched a show..it got me thinking..

it brought up some of the same things that the de vinci code did..im talking about the whole mary magdaline thing (cant spell it...)

it had me somewhat convinced that there actually might be a truth to this..i got the thinking that mary could have been a diciple...and could have written documents which today could have been a gospel in the bible...but the priests apparently burnt here writtings...because she was a women...so there could be a whole other gospel in the bible explaining alot more shit, and could talk about her and jesus' relationship and even their child...

and who knows..there might have even been more women doing the same thing..

ur thoughts??...

Religion is not about the details, it's about the essentials. One might spend a thousand lifetimes searching for the "truth", but the truth that matters lies within essentials. Faith is the core of Christianity, not fact.

basically how i look at it.. is i beleive in a god or greater being..and i pray to him.. but i dont practice any customs of any religion.. because no one knows for sure who is right.. or they could all be wrong.. so i jus put faith in the one thing all of dem agree on.. and dats god.. and he will be the judge of wat happens to me

..though good for those who can belive in moderation, faith also can make rational intelligent creatures strap explosives to themselves and murder innocent people. It can turn hundreds into pyligamists and mutalate generations of offspring.Faith be a cup of kool-aid.Faith is both comforting and dangerous.Be open minded and kind of spirit and life will be a cakewalk.

Young money has the right idea..im kind of the same..i mean i am Christened as a Catholic and i am proud of this.. but i do not follow the bible word for word as this was written by men.. of which we are all corrupt. Jesus taught me to love one another as he loved me (you/everyone) and also to Never follow Organised Religion...He was borne a Jew but died a ''Blasphemer'' according to the Jewish religion. I am just Monotheistic as in i believe in God but i do not know what/who he is and i Know that if i am to go to hell for this belief then God is not something i would consider as my own. I believe God would have told us and made it 100% clear to us if he wanted us to practice these religions. God is so much greater than Religions make out, He is not a petty man who is waiting for us to make a wrong move and condem us to an infinate afterlife of missery. God is unknown and God likes it this way.

I could go on..religion is very interesting but BULLSHIT LOL.

Honestly I just dont buy it, no offense but the concept of fate just doesnt do it for me. Obviosly thats an oxymoron and you may even call string theory my faith.

Still a religion is more than one man. Think about it, how much difference could that missing link have made? Hell it could even be one of history's best bargains: if holly kings werent enough then what do you think would hapen to the children?

Thats probably the reasoning behind this. Personally I believe they took out magdeline(cant spel

Christianity was divorced from its scientific roots. so now we have a little story book that only convinces people if they hear it at an early enough age, or if they really need to.

evolution's missing link is explained in genesis. god created Neanderthal man (Genesis 1:26-27), then converted him to current man, Adam (Genesis 2:7-8 ). it states it explicitly but the dogma has perverted the very words into "god just created man and thats it." but go reread the first chapter of Genesis and youll see that man was created, then made, in two separate events. hence the missing link. (although some translations smooth this out into one event, and some dont) (but all translations have adam and eve's son, cain, being cast out among other humans but that would be impossible of their were only 3 humans yet, no matter how you shake it it never says that Adam was the First man.)

Your church, whether its protestant or catholic or jewish synagogue, is an apostate church. Jesus never authorized the creation of a church as we know them (from what ive read). all those blinded bible thumpers who have turned you off from religion, are actually apostate christians. hopefully the good hearted ones will still spin their photons correctly enough in order to save their souls, though.

Ive said this before but i'll say it again... christianity or any other religion is only there because at the time they were created people needed structure and boundarys, and because humans were evolving there minds were figuring out that they could do more and more things (Kill for fun, Rape, etc...) and obviously other people didnt want that, so there were laws created, and they were told these laws were from a "God/Gods" that told them how to live/taught them things, so the dumbfucks thought they had to lisen, religion created a society as we know it now we owe it that yeah, but theres no use for it anymore... lol well thats my theory...

And Evolution well, maybe the bible shows it but even so its was probally still pretty obvious to people in 200[+] B.C, they werent fuckin handicap...

Faith is the core of Christianity, not fact.

TRUTH

I mean, it used to be that way, you know, when the barbaric Church decided what fact was, but now that the 'Enlightenment' has happened (thank God), Christianity does not equal fact.

Finally something we can agree on
