The clock on my computer goes a little slow, currently 35 minutes behind actual time. I reset it a week ago...so must be slipping by about 5 minutes per day. I never realized before how much I depend on it for time - I've been late to several things this week as a result.

I went into control panel and had fixed it - but it won't connect with the .gov source to sync the time.

Any ideas?

Its The BIOS Clock... You Need To Enter The BIOS And Change The Time... Not Syncing With The Internet Time Server Is A Security Feature, When Your BIOS And Server/Computer Times Are Out By More Than 5 Mins... You May Notice, You Will Stop Recieving Updates Too....

If You Are Running On A Network, It May Be The Server, As All Computers Surrogate To That Server, Will Run On Its Time, Try Updating It There... If Not... Then Its The BIOS Clock... If That Still Does Not Work... You Will Have To Reset The CMOS... That Involves Opening The Case... Finding 3 Metal Prongs Sticking Out Of The Board With A Blue Or Black Or White Plastic Thingy, Known As A Jumper, Attached And It Will Say Next To It - "CMOS" - Just Move The Jumper Across 1 - Then Move It Back... But I Highly Dont Reccomend This Unless You Know What You Are Doing :D Oh And Make Sure The PC Is Unplugged First :D

I stopped worrying about it - and yesterday it all synced fine and shows correct time now.

I think your computer, knows how important your punctuality is,and as a result, is trying to piss you off LOL
