Ortiz is one of my favorite rappers right now. He isn't really underground though. He was signed with Dre earlier in 2007. Dude's a beast though.. Download "the brick: bodega chronicles" sickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk album. His new one should be out late 2008

Haven't been put up on Joel till now. He has a Thirston Howell feel. The "I'm still a broke emcee, yet I'm dope" feel. I've only heard "Brooklyn Bullshit" thus far, so my research will go much deeper.

Speaking of Thirston Howell, I was at a show that the cops eventually shut down because his crew was apparently strong arming people in the bathroom. For some reason I see the same shit happening with this guy.

Pretty tight though, he was not a privledged child like most commercial emcees, and thats why I enjoy the music. He's raw, and real.
