You might be saying "Why the fuck is Danny bringing up a pop rapper from 1993 in the underground section?".... well, first I've done crazier, and second, I used to love this guy. I was only in like sixth grade when his album came out, and I fell in love a long time ago. So recently I decided to get his old album, and take a walk through my past loves in hip hop.
I learned a few things during this walk into my past; My past taste in music will never change (If it's good, I will still like it), Snow DOES really speak Patois (Otherwise known "Patwa"), and he is NOT a hip hop artist, he is REALLY a reggae singer.
He is still working in the business, true to his ROOTS, which are: He fell passionately in love with Reggae and at a young age was determined to learn the language. For a white guy from Canada, he is pretty good. Some of his updated works (no idea how new) can be found on his myspace:

The site is still very updated, however literature on this artist is pretty rough to dig up on the net.
Oh, and for humor. Jim Carrey did a parody of Snow's "Informer" video. "Imposter" can be found here:
