Yeah, when I try to run Adobe Audition 3.0, my PC just turns itself off, then starts back up. Same EXACT problem when trying to run 2.0. But, I can run 1.5 perfectly. Any suggestions? I mean, I know they upgraded A LOT of things when going from 1.5 to 2.0, but is there anything that could be causing this problem? Like my paging file size, or my temp folder or anything like that?

My PC specs:

Ram 2gb DDR2.
Intel Celeron R Processor, with a 3.2 (3200) Ghz speed.
Windows XP... some kind of like home professional pack or something, I'm not too sure.

Any type of solutions, ideas, or any feedback at all, is GREATLY appreciated, this shiz is driving me nuts.

Thanks- Joe Porter

Yes Cool Edit Pro is the basis of Adobe Audition, either that or they are just basically the same.

Has nothing to do with the actual specifics of the program.

Your RAM is stuffed. Run Memtest X86.

100% Guareentee You Need New RAM.

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!!

Lol :D

RAM Problems Always Cause Hard Shutdowns, Or Instant Restarts. 1.5 Probably Doesnt Require As Much As 2 Or 3, And Whenever 2 Or 3 Run, They Try And Access Higher Memory Banks And Reach The Bad RAM Blocks. The System Will Then Restart Itself To Prevent Isoistic Damage To The Silicon.

I can guarantee this is happening because you got a cracked version... shhhhhhhhh keep it on the low..

Are you kidding me? Trojan bugs and G5 viruses can easily shutdown a PC, or even portable devices using power surge catches.

Software Will Easily Shut It Down... Especially Windows...AN Wat U Been Smoking?

If It Wasn't A Legal Copy, Which I Seriously Doubt It Was.. You Need To Run A Virus/Adware/Spyware Scan On Your PC

Run HiJackThis And Let Me See A Log.
