ok this is for anyone who can help me answer thease questions, but before I start asking questions let me give some backround info.I record Hip-Hop music from my pc.I've got an MXL2001-P condensed mic hooked up to a M-Audio dmp2 interface which is hooked up to my pc.I use acid 4.0&sound forge 6.0 for music creation and editing.
Ok now for my questions
1. I am having a hard time getting the vocals to blend in right with the beat. Even after I try to adjust the master volums of the vocals and the beat. What should I do?
2.Overall the qualty of my final projects I produce are ok but I know they could be a lot better when I am done with a song it sounds good in my studio, but if I try and play it in a car or another source the levels sound off.How can I fix that?
3.Does anybody know of a program that is just as good as pro tools but is compatible with win xp?
4. Does anyone know of a professional program such as acid, sound forge or pro tools that will let me line up the beat with the recording automaticaly so that way I wont have to add or remove silence from the recording in order hear the way a take sounds like I do now with sound forge ?(In other words is there a program that lines up the beat and the vocal for me automatic after I am done with a take.)
I look foward for any comments or suggestions an experienced producer that records music in a simular way to me has to say .
