Wuz da deal board, I'm 17 and I'm new to this beat making game. I really wanna make beats, produce tracks and all that fancy shit, but I'm all confused. My homeboy just got a deal with Shutem Down Records, and I wanna do my own thing.

Here's the thing. I wanna learn about the gear that's needed to produce instrumental. I know about the MPC's series, the triton and karma, the frooty loops, reason, acid 4.0, and all that software and hardware. I've used the zoom rhythym track 323 and a cassete tape, just to learn about sequencers, drum patterns and recording.

I wanna know what's the best way to produce a demo, from the beat making, to the vocals, samples and all that shit. My budger its around 2500. I'm thinking about buying the MPC 2000(I used to own a mpc 60 but it broke), and if do, I'll have around 1500 left. Should buy the Triton and the mpc??? After that, what's the best recording device, analog or digital, that I can possibly get???

yo texas boy u can buy a virtual studio made by roland in other words u can buy a ROLAND VS 1640 or a VS 880EX, with a expansion boar in there, and a set o effects. Or record voice into your computer using the acid 3.0 (the best for me) or soundforge or cool edit. if u need more help holla back at me.
